Today, eBay for Charity and ESPN announced the launch of the annual ESPY Day Auction. In connection with the 25th annual ESPY Awards on July 12, the charity auction gives shoppers the opportunity to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences at some of the world’s most famous sporting events, including Wimbledon and the Super Bowl. The eBay for Charity auction launches on July 5 starting at 4:30 a.m. PDT with new items and experiences added throughout the day, and will run until July 12 at 3:00 p.m. PDT at eBay.com/ESPN. The proceeds from this initiative will benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

As part of this ESPY Day auction on eBay for Charity, sports fanatics can bid on more than 55 VIP experiences with their favorite ESPN hosts including: tickets to the ESPN Party at the 2018 Super Bowl, 2018 NFL Draft Experience, the Cotton Bowl Classic in Arlington, Winter X Games weekend in Aspen, two days of VIP access at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships; as well as once-in-a-lifetime opportunities such as shadowing ESPN’s film directors during the making of an upcoming project, and much more.

“At eBay, we’re committed to inspiring our shoppers to not only embrace and express their individuality, but to easily connect to the causes and charities they care about,” said Chris Librie, eBay’s Senior Director of Global Impact. “We’re honored to be collaborating with ESPN, bringing our loyal shoppers – and sports fans – incredible items and experiences they won’t find anywhere else.”
