San Diego Seals lacrosse team owner Joe Tsai donates 500,000 pieces of PPE to San Diego health care workers

Seals FansOn Monday, over half a million masks & protective goggles were donated by The Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation. The donation will provide assistance in combating the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of California. The PPE materials were shipped to the University of California San Diego and will be distributed to other health care providers in the region.

The donation comes in conjunction with a donation of 2.6 million masks, 170,000 goggles and 2000 ventilators to the state of New York. Tsai is the owner of the National Lacrosse League’s San Diego Seals, in addition to the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Liberty.
