NLL Launches E-Commerce Site In Canada Via Enhanced Fanatics Partnership

NLL/Fanatics

The National Lacrosse League (@NLL), the largest and most successful professional lacrosse property in the world, today announced that it is easier than ever for fans in Canada to find and purchase a wide range of team and NLL merchandise via the league’s enhanced partnership with Fanatics, a leading licensed sports merchandiser and global digital sports platform. Beginning today at Fanatics.ca, fans in Canada have access to a full collection of items, including jerseys, t-shirts, hats, and more, with local pricing as well as easier and less expensive shipping options.

“With the majority of our players hailing from Canada, one-third of our teams being in Canada, and a strong fanbase from coast to coast, the NLL is proud that the expansion of our partnership with Fanatics in Canada will make it easier than ever for fans there to support any of their favorite teams,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz. “We couldn’t be more pleased with our Fanatics relationship, and NLL presence on the Fanatics.ca site further cements our partnership and commitment to our Canadian fans.”

The NLL’s following in Canada is wide and fervent, a fact borne out by numerous metrics. More than a third of the League’s social media followers are based in Canada; almost 40% of its Website traffic over the last year originates from there; and half of the teams’ social following collectively is from Canada. Additionally, a broadcast relationship with TSN has made the league’s connection with Canadian fans even stronger.

In 2020, the NLL, in partnership with Fanatics, first announced NLLShop.com as the online destination for all NLL team and league-branded items. The initiative unified the approach by the league and its teams to consolidate its merchandising under one digital roof.
