SportTechie Acquired by Leaders Group, Parent Company of Sports Business Journal

Leaders Group, parent company of Sports Business Journal, has finalized its acquisition of the assets of SportTechie, the leading sports technology content and events company. SportTechie will be integrated into Sports Business Journal making the combined entity the leading source of insights and information for sports industry leaders and innovators. 

SportTechie, founded in 2012, covers trends and innovations in the dynamic and rapidly expanding sports technology industry. As technology has changed the way the sports ecosystem does business, SportTechie has been at the forefront of this shift with its acclaimed weekday newsletter, best-in-class calendar of events and impactful reporting.

SportTechie will work with Leaders Group companies, especially Sports Business Journal, to strategically integrate editorial coverage, events and subscriptions. Together they will form the preeminent platform to inform key business decisions and help every sports industry professional, executive and innovator stay ahead of the curve.

The SportTechie team will join Sports Business Journal and Taylor Bloom will assume the newly created position of Managing Director, Sports Technology Business at Leaders Group. SportTechie will also be making key hires to expand its content and event production capabilities. New career opportunities will be published soon for talented builders who want to be involved in a rapidly growing group.
