Knicks Legend Houston, Iconic Actor Morgan Host NYC Students In ‘MSG Classroom’

Around 30 NYC students, both current high school students and recent graduates, had the incredible opportunity to sit down and get important life lessons and career advice from Knicks legend Allan Houston and iconic actor and comedian Tracy Morgan during a first-of-its-kind ‘MSG Classroom’ event inside the network’s studios. ‘MSG Classroom’ is an Emmy award-winning educational program created through a partnership between MSG Networks and the Garden of Dreams Foundation that teaches local high school students about the media industry and helps them develop the skills needed to pursue future careers in television.

The two-time NBA All-Star and Olympic Gold Medalist first spoke to the students about ways to promote a healthy mind, body and spirit, while sharing core values from his FISLL program that he feels can provide a foundation to maximize success and reach one’s full potential in all stages of life. Morgan then shared about his own life journey and encouraged the students to go after their dreams. He told them to be fearless in anything they do and stressed that “whatever you achieve in life, you must have an attitude of gratitude.”
