MSG Networks on Monday announced that longtime ESPN New York Radio personality Don La Greca has been named as the lead play-by-play announcer for MSG Networks’ television coverage of the New Jersey Devils. A New Jersey native, La Greca has been a host with ESPN New York Radio since its inception in 2001, and has also been calling Rangers games on the MSG Radio Network since 2005.
La Greca will join “Mr. Devil” Ken Daneyko in the MSG Networks’ Devils broadcast booth for the 2025-26 season.
“To be the voice of the team that got me into hockey as a kid, a team that represents my home state with an incredible fan base, and to follow in the footsteps of some of the great play-by-play voices in the sport is an absolute dream come true,” said La Greca. “And to work with the legend Ken Daneyko makes is that much sweeter. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
“We’re excited to welcome Don to our Devils broadcast team,” said Andrea Greenberg, President and CEO, MSG Networks. “Don’s top notch play-by-play skills and his love for the Devils will endear him very quickly to Devils fans, many of whom know him from his presence as a cherished Tri-State area sports personality on ESPN New York Radio.”
La Greca is currently co-host of “Don, Hahn & Rosenberg” on ESPN New York Radio. Before the “Don, Hahn & Rosenberg show,” La Greca was a co-host of “The Michael Kay Show” on ESPN New York Radio, a position he began in 2002.
La Greca is from Hawthorne, New Jersey, and currently resides in Somerset with his wife and two children.
