Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) – the DMV region’s go-to source for live, local sports coverage – today announced a robust 24-game slate of college football matchups that will air on the award-winning platform during the upcoming season.
MNMT’s 2025 college football schedule features a record two dozen games, including a new broadcast partnership with Hampton University (VA) and renewed multi-game partnerships with area schools University of Richmond (VA) and Towson University (MD), as well as HBCU GO.
In addition to the partner institutions, the schedule also features several local schools like William & Mary (VA) and Virginia Military Institute (VA) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) like Howard (D.C.) and Norfolk St. (VA).
MNMT’s college football coverage begins on Sunday, August 31 at 12:00 PM as Hampton takes on Jackson St. (game is scheduled for August 30 and will air on tape delay). Apart from this first game, all Hampton, Richmond, and Towson games on MNMT will air live, while recorded games via HBCU GO will air on Sundays throughout the fall, giving area fans a chance to watch their favorite teams all season long.
“This year’s expanded college football schedule on Monumental Sports Network reflects the incredible momentum we’re seeing with both new and returning broadcast partners,” said Friday Abernethy, General Manager, MNMT. “Welcoming Hampton to the Monumental lineup alongside longtime partners like Towson, Richmond, and HBCU GO speaks to the growing trust and excitement around our platform. We’re proud to be deepening our commitment to college football in the DMV and we can’t wait to bring fans even more of the local teams they love.”
Approximately three million households in the network’s coverage area can watch local college football action on MNMT over the coming months. Fans in the D.C. area interested in watching the games can access all the action through their Pay TV subscription, on monumentalplus.com, or by downloading the state-of-the-art Monumental+ app on iOS, Amazon Prime Video, Android, Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung, X1, and Xfinity Xumo and using an eligible TV Everywhere log-in.
As part of the partnership with Towson, MNMT will also air three Towson women’s volleyball games on the network during the upcoming season: Friday, October 17 vs. Elon (6 PM), Friday, October 31 vs. Stony Brook (6 PM), and Saturday, November 1 vs. Stony Brook (2 PM).
