SiriusXM announced today that 2009 U.S. Open Champion Lucas Glover is joining the SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio channel. The six-time PGA TOUR winner will host The Lucas Glover Show, which will premiere tomorrow, December 6 at 8:00 pm ET.

The hour-long program will air regularly throughout the year exclusively on SiriusXM.

“I’m really excited to join the SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio channel. It’s an excellent platform for me to have a voice in the game and reach golf fans all over the country,” said Glover. “Having my own show is something I’ve actually thought about doing since I won the U.S. Open. Now, having experienced all I have through my career, I’m ready and looking forward to sharing lots of stories, lessons learned and opinions on our game.”

“Lucas is a terrific player and personality who has seen and accomplished much in his career,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer. “He’s an excellent addition to SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio and we’re excited to give him a platform to share his strong perspectives and opinions on the game with our listeners throughout the year.”

Glover turned professional in 2001 after graduating from Clemson. After two years on the Korn Ferry Tour (then called the Nationwide Tour), where he played his way to eight top-10 and 12 top-25 finishes, he earned his PGA TOUR card for 2004. In his rookie season on the PGA TOUR, Glover made an impressive 17 of 30 cuts while recording two top-10s and five top-25s. He continued that success into his second year on the TOUR and picked up his first victory at the 2005 FUNAI Classic in Orlando when he holed a lengthy bunker shot on the 18th hole to secure the win.

In 2009, Glover won the U.S. Open at the Bethpage Black Course by a two-stroke margin, in the process becoming one of just a handful of players to win the U.S. Open after having to play in a sectional qualifier. The win propelled him to 18th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Over the decade-plus following his U.S. Open victory, Glover celebrated many highlights with TOUR victories and top finishes in major events, and persevered through career struggles that included overcoming injury and returning to the Korn Ferry Tour to regain his PGA TOUR card. In recent years, he has experienced a career resurgence. In July 2021, Glover won the John Deere Classic with a final round 7-under-par 64, for his first PGA TOUR victory in 10 years. This past season, Glover recorded three consecutive top-10 finishes in July, then earned back-to-back victories in the Wyndham Championship and FedEx St. Jude Championship, the first of three FedEx Cup Playoffs events.

The SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio channel is available to listeners nationwide on the SiriusXM radios in their cars (channel 92) and on the SiriusXM app: siriusxm.us/SiriusXMPGATourRadio. The channel delivers live coverage of PGA TOUR events and major championships, as well as daily original programming focused on the latest golf news, instruction, equipment and more.
