NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl to be first NCAA Bowl game streamed live to both Facebook & Twitter via Campus Insiders

arizonabowl-logo-1For the second straight year, Campus Insiders has partnered with the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl to provide an exclusive, digitally focused bowl game broadcast to millions of fans across the nation. The NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl kicks off between the South Alabama Jaguars and the Air Force Falcons on Friday, December 30, at 5:30 pm ET at Arizona Stadium. This year, for the first time in NCAA Bowl history, the game will also be available to fans as a live video stream on Facebook and Twitter, the latter being part of a live streaming partnership with Twitter announced earlier this year.

Also new this year, Campus Insiders’ digital broadcast of the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, as powered by BAMTech, will immerse fans in a unique live experience with a number of special technological additions and enhancements including:

  • Referee point-of-view cameras and other unique camera angles that will give fans access to details of the game visible from no other vantage point,
  • 3D telestrations and player tracking throughout the game,
  • Behind-the-Scenes 360 & Virtual Reality experiences such as the teams’ entries through the tunnel as well as access to both locker rooms and sidelines.

The digital-first production also will be streamed across the Campus Insiders Network on CampusInsiders.com and supported mobile and connected devices, including go90, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, XBox and Sling TV. The game will also be accessible on the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl Gameday App (iOS and Android). American Sports Network will televise the game live across many of Sinclair’s television stations, stations of other television broadcasters, and regional sports networks to over 79 million U.S. homes. In addition, the American Forces Network will make the game available to U.S. military bases and U.S. Naval ships around the world in 174 territories as well as aboard more than 140 U.S. Naval ships at sea.

Campus Insiders host Shae Peppler will be on-site in Arizona providing commentary and color as a sideline reporter. Additional Campus Insiders talent, including former Denver Broncos defensive end and University of Wyoming grad Eddie Yarbrough, former NFL Running Back Darius Walker and play-by-play announcer Ari Wolfe, will be on the call using enhanced graphics and telestrations, while also engaging with the college football communities across social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Calling the action on ASN is long-time broadcasting veteran Mike Gleason, former NFL running back Doug Chapman and sideline reporter Monica McNutt.
