Foley’s NY Pub & Restaurant Announces ‘Battle of the Irish QBurgers’

FoleysFoley’s NY Pub & Restaurant (18 W. 33rd St.), has unveiled its “Battle of the Irish QBurgers” menu to coincide with the big game on Sunday, Feb. 5, featuring a quarterback-themed burger in honor of the Patriots’ Tom Brady and the Falcons’ Matt Ryan.

“We always like to put a fun twist on our big game menus, so we have named burger to recognize the Irish American quarterbacks of each remaining playoff team,” said Shaun Clancy, owner of Foley’s NY Pub & Restaurant, one of New York City’s top sports bars.

Tom Brady’s Irish Burger (Stuffed with Irish bacon + sausage topped with a fried egg)

“You can wash either burger down with a Cape Cod cocktail or a Peach Tea Cocktail,” jested the owner of Foley’s, which features a different “stuffed burger” each week.

A portion of the proceeds from Tom Brady’s Irish Burger will go to Best Buddies – a charity the four-time champion supported in June 2016 and is the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to ending social, physical and economic isolation. Meanwhile, a portion of the proceeds from Matty Ryan’s Corned Beef Burger will go to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a non-profit organization that provides clinical care to children, which the MVP candidate and former Boston College quarterback has supported.
