Lasso and Professional Pickleball Association Announce One-Year Partnership

Lasso Pickleball

Lasso, a high-performance apparel brand, is excited to announce they have struck a one-year deal as a partner of the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the premier provider of professional and amateur pickleball tournaments for all ages. Lasso will be working with the PPA as a tour sponsor, the “Official Tour Sock of the PPA”, and as a retail partner through their on-site superstores – “The Dink” – and online at www.thedinkpickleball.com. “The Dink” is one of the largest stories in the country dedicated exclusively to pickleball. As the “Official Tour Sock of the PPA” Lasso will offer PPA players the socks they need to be at their best on the court and recover off of it.

Lasso and the PPA will be working together to make the Lasso Sock 2.0 product available to pickleball players and ambassadors to help promote safe playing and recovery in one of the fastest growing sport in the USA. According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), pickleball grew 21.3% in 2020, making it the fastest growing sport in America and the largest participation growth in a single year ever. Both Lasso and PPA are committed to promoting the reduction of injuries and improving recovery so players can play at their best. Additional programs with the PPA include online promotional challenges, activations at all 14 tournaments over the course of the 2021 competitive schedule, and promoting the sport of pickleball’s competitive and active lifestyle.

“We are stoked to officially partner with the PPA and support one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Pickleball is fun, competitive and fast-paced, requiring sudden directional changes and rewarding fast feet,” said Partha Unnava, founder and CEO of Lasso. “Our one-of-a-kind socks are perfect as they provide key ankle support and compression that not only allow players to perform on the court, but also help players with enhanced recovery off the court as well. We have been welcomed with open arms into the pickleball community and we look forward to helping spread the word about this ever-growing sport while providing players the opportunity to elevate their game and #StayMoving.”

“The PPA is thrilled to partner with Lasso Socks,” added Conner Ogden, PPA Head of Partnerships. “The compression and support built into their socks is not only aesthetically appealing but helps aid in the prevention of player foot fatigue. Pickleball athletes spend hours on the courts and these socks will help keep our players active and on the court!”
