Dermasport Adds Swimming Icons Adrian, Beisel To Skin Care Protection Team

Dermasport, the only high-performance facial skincare line for swimmers, announces the launch of their four-step system designed to protect, support and aid the recovery of chlorine and sun damaged skin. Developed by board-certified dermatologist and avid swimmer Dr. Christopher Schmidt, Dermasport has teamed up with five-time gold medalist Nathan Adrian and two-time medalist Elizabeth Beisel to raise awareness and education for proper skin protection for swimmers of all levels.

Dermasport’s complete system includes four facial skincare essentials for swimmers: a cleanser, an eye cream, a moisturizer and a mineral sunscreen with SPF 50. Prior to launch, Dermasport conducted a rigorous four-year testing phase to place these products in the hands of recreational swimmers all the way to gold medalists. The compelling results attracted Adrian and Beisel to team up with the brand as official spokespersons to increase awareness for preventative skincare for aquatic athletes.

“As a competitive swimmer, I have always been challenged by the irritating effects of chlorine and sun on my face. I would often use a mineral sunscreen before I got in the water, and then use a petroleum jelly product on my face post-swim.
