ShotTracker Announces Largest Staff Expansion In Company History

ShotTracker, the industry leader in adaptive real-time data and AI-driven insights for teams, leagues, facilities and consumers, today announced the largest expansion of talent and leadership in the history of the company, fueled by business growth in the past 12 months. This expansion of technical and marketing talent, led by the appointment of Greg Kirkorsky as Chief Revenue Officer and LaDonna Gooden as Chief Operating Officer deepens the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge analytics solutions for coaches, scouts, front office executives and broadcasters.

Greg Kirkorsky joins ShotTracker as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing over two decades of transformative leadership in sports technology and data analytics. Most recently Chief Commercial Officer at SportsDataIO, Kirkorsky drove a 50% increase in multi-year renewals while securing partnerships with industry leaders like NBC Sports and FanDuel. During his distinguished 20-year tenure at STATS LLC, he built and managed a $45M global strategic accounts portfolio, establishing partnerships with technology giants including Google, Amazon, and Apple, while helping teams and broadcasters leverage advanced analytics solutions. 

LaDonna Gooden

The appointment of LaDonna Gooden as Chief Operating Officer adds significant sports and media consulting expertise to ShotTracker’s leadership team. As Executive Fellow to the Kansas City Mayor, she architected the policy that secured the first purpose-built women’s professional sports stadium globally in Kansas City, unlocking over $100M in economic activity. A former Division I athlete and Nielsen Vice President, her data-driven approach has already expanded ShotTracker’s client insights and visualization capabilities, as well as deepened strategic partnerships across the basketball ecosystem. With her appointment, Gooden becomes one of the only women of color in a senior leadership position at a sports technology company.

ShotTracker has further strengthened its innovation capabilities with the addition of seven specialists across artificial intelligence, machine learning and marketing. Key appointments include Dr. Mo Gharabi, PhD from the University of Missouri, whose expertise in generative AI and large language models will accelerate ShotTracker’s analytics capabilities; Trice Alford as Director of Marketing, bringing extensive tech industry experience to refine the company’s market positioning; and Ian Hutchinson as Creative Director, who will enhance user experience and define new directions in product design. Martin Bahar, former Princeton and Fairfield University coach and ESPN+ broadcast commentator, joins alongside T.J. Dorado, former G League Coach for the Austin Spurs and veteran basketball coach Jonathan Anaekwe. The addition of collegiate football coach Kenny Coleman signals ShotTracker’s planned expansion beyond basketball, while experienced product manager Justin Sutton will drive development of new products beyond the company’s flagship sensor-based technology.
