Pinnacle World Long Drive Tour Brings Top Horsepower and 400 Yard Drives to the National Polo Center

The Pinnacle World Long Drive Tour today announced the opening event of its 2026 season May 15-16 at the National Polo Center in Wellington, FL. The WLD Florida Presented by GOLFJOY event will feature the top Open Division and Senior Division long drive athletes in competition at the home of polo in the United States, utilizing three of NPC’s highly maintained championship fields to measure WLD’s prodigious distance from the hitting stage.

Located in the heart of South Florida’s legendary horse country and the perpetual home for polo in America, NPC is owned and managed by the United States Polo Association to showcase the finest the sport has to offer.

“We are excited to showcase the power and athleticism of the Pinnacle World Long Drive Tour in Palm Beach County at such a legendary venue,” said World Long Drive Chief Commercial Officer David Livingston. “Bringing the sport of long drive closer to golfers and fans is an important priority for WLD, and we look forward to promoting excellence in our competitions at the National Polo Center.”

WLD Florida, Presented by GOLFJOY will air June 30 on Golf Channel. Preliminary rounds on Friday, May 15 will be livestreamed on the Pinnacle World Long Drive tour YouTube channel.

Following the WLD Florida event on May 16, eight top-ranked WLD athletes will also compete in the “Battle at the Beach”, an exciting “King of the Hill” long drive exhibition produced for ESPN2. The schedule for Saturday, May 16 will see the Senior division competition beginning at 9AM, with the Open Division competition at 1PM, followed by the “Battle at the Beach” exhibition.

Both events are open to the public. General admission parking will be charged at $10 on Saturday, May 16.

This unique partnership will also see WLD staff wearing co-branded Pinnacle World Long Drive Tour and U.S. Polo Assn. apparel, which will be on sale during the events at the USPA Shop adjacent to the hitting area.
