In Strat-O-Matic’s continued simulation of the NBA postseason, the Conference Finals ended with Sunday’s Milwaukee Bucks 123-106 victory over Boston in Game 7 in the East, setting up an NBA Finals matchup with the L.A. Clippers, who topped the crosstown Lakers, four games to one.
Giannis Antetokounmpo posted game highs of 42 points and 21 rebounds in Sunday’s win. Khris Middleton added 17 points and a game-best 10 assists and three steals as the Bucks scored 13 straight fourth quarter points (six by Antetokounmpo and five by Eric Bledsoe) to stretch a three-point lead to 117-101 with 1:44 left and secure the win.
Finals play begins in Milwaukee on Thursday, continuing with Game 2 there on Sunday, then Wednesday, June 10 and Friday, June 12 in Los Angeles. Game 5 is Monday, June 15 (if necessary) in Milwaukee, followed by Game 6 on June 18 in L.A., and Game 7 back in Milwaukee.
