Forget the demise of the “Legion of Doom,” Russell Wilson is back for another round of golden slime this summer. The Seahawks QB will make his third straight appearance as host of Nickelodeon Kids Choice Sports Awards which will air Sunday, July 16, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT), Kids’ Choice Sports 2017 will be taped live on Thursday, July 13, from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, it was announced today.

Fan voting in 12 categories will also begin today for athletes to won awards ranging from “Favorite Female Athlete” to “Queen of Swag,” and “Biggest Cannon. ” In addition t return nominess like Serena Williams and Alex Morgan, there are 28 first-time nominees including: Le’Veon Bell, Laurie Hernandez, Dak Prescott, DeAndre Jordan, Alyson Felix, Sergio Garcia, and DeMarcus Cousins.

Sponsors for Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports 2017 include Airheads®, Capri Sun , Chrysler Pacifica, Crest®, Nationwide’s Make Safe Happen®, Popsicle® and Verizon.
