The odds for the college football championship are out, and (shocker!) it’s the favorites who are, well, favored.
Alabama and Clemson, the last three champions (‘Bama in ’16 and ’18, Clemson in ’17) that have the shortest odds for the College Football Playoff for 2019, per MyTopSportsBooks.com. The Crimson Tide (even money) lead the way, with the Tigers (9/1), Ohio State (10/1) and Michigan (16/1) rounding out the top four, in odds updated on Wednesday.
The Buckeyes and Wolverines renew their rivalry on November 24 at The Big House; OSU plays only one ranked team (Michigan State, 11/10) until then, while Michigan has the Spartans this weekend, plus #18 Penn State before gimmies against Rutgers and Indiana before The Game, so the Wolverines’ odds may have the higher chance of changing soon.
