NFL: The Grind Announces Lineup Of Legendary Contributors For Premiere Season On EPIX

Premium television network EPIX® and NFL Films today announced a star-studded lineup of regular contributors for the weekly series NFL: The Grind, which premieres Wednesday, September 11 at 9pm eastern time. The diverse lineup of some of the most impactful voices in professional football in the past twenty years – each tied to a storyline they are passionate and knowledgable about – will take fans inside some of the new stories of professional football as the NFL 100 season progresses.

Included on the initial contributors list will be Pro Football Hall of Famers Brett FavreCharles Woodson and Terrell Owens, along with legendary stars DeMarcus WareChad JohnsonClinton Portisand Michael Vick, all of whom will be on the road meeting with and documenting some of the unique and never before told stories of coaches, players and personnel around the NFL.

Said Michael Wright, President, EPIX, “Our goal with NFL: The Grind is to present fans with deeper insight and a more unique point of view of storytelling than they have seen during the NFL season. These legendary personalities will bring insight, access and perspective to the stories they will be part of that can’t be manufactured; it will be authentic, real and passionate as they have walked in the shoes of the athletes and coaches they will be talking to, and have gone through the up’s and down’s of a career on the gridiron themselves.”

Hosted by Rich EisenNFL: The Grind will run for 17 episodes throughout the entirety of the 2019 NFL season and will serve as both a weekly destination for the final word on the week in football, as well as an up close and personal, inside look at life in the NFL – on and off the field – across the endurance test that is the NFL season.
