MSG Networks Announces 2022 New York Red Bulls Telecast Schedule

MSG/Red Bulls

MSG Networks and Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls today announced the team’s official telecast schedule for the 2022 season. MSG Networks will televise up to 30 of the Red Bulls’ 34 regular season matches this year.

MSG Networks, which has been the regional television home of the Red Bulls (previously the MetroStars) since 1996, will telecast pregame and postgame coverage for all home games it televises, and pregame shows for all away games it televises.

Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Steve Cangialosi returns for his 15th season as the team’s play-by-play announcer, alongside U.S. soccer legend and former Olympic goalkeeper Shep Messing, now in his 22nd season as game analyst. Michelle Gingras also returns for her 5th season as host and sideline reporter.

The Red Bulls will kick-off their 2022 campaign on Saturday, February 26th at 6:00pm ET on MSG Network, when they go on the road to take on the San Jose Earthquakes. Last year, the Red Bulls clinched a postseason berth for the 12th consecutive season, which is tied for the 2nd longest streak in MLS history.

Red Bulls games on MSG Networks will also be available for viewing on MSG GO, the networks’ live streaming and video on demand platform. The Spanish radio broadcast of the team’s radio channel, Red Bulls Radio, will also feature as the SAP option for MSG Networks telecasts, with broadcaster Stefano Fusaro calling play-by-play action.

The full schedule can be seen here.
