MSG Networks Announces MSG+ Channel to be Renamed MSG Sportsnet

MSG Networks today announced that MSG+ will officially be renamed MSG Sportsnet (MSGSN). The name change will formally be introduced on air on Monday, September 26th to coincide with the start of the upcoming NHL preseason, when the Islanders take on the Rangers in each of their preseason openers at Madison Square Garden.

MSGSN will continue to deliver a full schedule of live NHL games of the Islanders and Devils and other compelling sports content including boxing, horse racing, tennis, lacrosse, high school football and more.
