NBC Sports presents coverage of the Drone Racing League’s 2022-23 Algorand DRL World Championship Miami 3-0-FLY Semi-Finals race this Sunday, March 26 at 1 p.m. ET on NBC. The Final race will air on NBC on Saturday, April 8, at 3 p.m. ET.
The 2022-23 DRL Algorand World Championship Miami 3-0-FLY Semi-Finals takes place this Sunday from loanDepot Park, home stadium of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins, in Miami, Fla. The world’s best drone pilots race high-speed drones through an immersive neon-colored aerial course. Elite pilots will navigate a fast outdoor track with several tight turns, complicated by elevation changes.
Throughout the season, the world’s 12 best drone pilots race high-speed drones in spectacular courses across all dimensions. The elite pilots have aimed to dominate 13 Levels of racing through iconic sports arenas and DRL SIM virtual maps to be crowned the World Champion.
DRL race locations have included: Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer stadiums, virtual courses in the DRL SIM game on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games include the U.S. Air Force Boneyard map.
