Telemundo’s coverage commences today, July 17 at 5 p.m. ET with La Antesala, Telemundo Deportes’ best-in-class one-hour show leading up to the kickoff of the Women’s World Cup. La Antesala offers soccer fans some of the most relevant competition storylines to set the scene for the tournament with information about the teams, players and coaches while showcasing their personalities and aspirations.
The network’s landmark FIFA World Cup show, Hoy en La Copa, providing previews and recaps of all the action ahead of key matches, will air before the Opening Match between New Zealand and Norway on July 20 at 2 a.m. ET. This edition of Hoy en La Copa will highlight the Opening Ceremony and commentary by Chief Soccer Commentator Andres Cantor, former Mexican National Team and Chivas player Manuel Sol, and professional soccer coach Natalia Astrain, who coached U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team and recently served as analyst for the network in Qatar.
Telemundo’s late-night weekend sports show Zona Mixta will wrap up the week with an update on the key storylines and analysis of participating teams on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET or after network news.
