Old Glory DC Announces 2024 Partners

Old Glory DC, the only professional rugby team in the DMV, today announced its 2024 partners for the Major League Rugby season, including the return of Events DC, which is expanding its support this year in a new role as the team’s official Events and Cultural Partner. Cuisine Solutions also returns as the presenting sponsor alongside founding partner ECS, legacy partner The Supply Room, and alliance partner Sheehy Auto Stores. New partners include Paisano’s, the official pizza provider of Old Glory DC, Taffer’s Tavern, which was recently named the official watch party location for fans in the DMV, and the team’s new home venue, the Maryland SoccerplexVision Security has also signed on as a partner for Young Glory, the nonprofit arm of Old Glory DC that serves as the official pathway to the pro squad.

Alliance partner Events DC returns for the second year in an expanded role as Old Glory DC’s official Events and Cultural Partner.  As part of the partnership, Events DC celebrates all Old Glory international player signings.

Gates. “I am looking forward to an incredible season for the area’s only professional rugby team. Through our partnership, we will continue to showcase Washington, DC as a world-class sports destination.

Returning as the presenting sponsor, Cuisine Solutions is featured with its logo front and center on the official jersey of Old Glory DC. A food company known for its expertise in sous-vide cooking, Cuisine Solutions will also offer three mouth-watering recipes to home match attendees in the digital program.

ECS, a leading provider of solutions in science, engineering, and advanced technologies including cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), data, and enterprise transformation solutions, returns as a founding partner of Old Glory DC. As part of the partnership, ECS sponsors the ECS Shield Series, which features select universities, high schools and club teams competing in one of five matches to promote the sport of rugby in the DMV and beyond. Winning teams take home a special ECS shield.

Sheehy Auto Stores, one of the largest dealer groups in the nation with 27 dealerships throughout the DMV, also returns as an alliance partner for the 2024 Old Glory DC season. New this year, the players run through the “Sheehy Tunnel” as they’re taking the pitch. With strong community outreach in rugby and beyond, Sheehy Auto Stores was also a co-sponsor for the Old Glory DC home match on April 6, which was Community Service Day for the team.

Paisano’s, a beloved dining destination with locations throughout the DMV, has signed on as the official pizza provider for Old Glory DC. The Italian restaurant chain offers a special menu of select items for fans inside the Soccerplex at all Old Glory home matches.

Additional sponsors and partners for Old Glory DC in 2024 include Kappa, MedStar Health, George Mason University, Baltimore Banner, Mighty Meals and Dittmar Company.
