The American Cornhole League Announces Lineup for New Orleans Qualifier for 5th Annual ‘SuperHole’

The American Cornhole League (ACL) is excited to announce the lineup of eight pro football players that will be paired with 8 cornhole pros for the initial SuperHole V qualifier held in New Orleans on April 20th.

This year 3x Pro Bowler and Bills star Dion Dawkins has signed on to serve as Co-Commissioner, and will be helping to oversee the competition in addition to competing himself. SuperHole V will feature 32 pro football players paired with 32 cornhole pros competing in a series of 8 qualifiers in New Orleans, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, and Canton, culminating in the Championship event in a city yet to be determined.

Each player will be competing for a share of the minimum guaranteed prize pool of $100k, in addition to creating a set of limited edition cornhole bags with a minimum of 30% of proceeds going to their cause.

The full lineup for New Orleans includes:

·        Derek Carr, Saints (paired with ACL pro Trevor Kuhfuss) – Carr is entering his 11th season in the league coming out of Fresno State. He is a 4x Pro Bowler with over 39,000 yards passing and 240+ touchdowns in his career.

·        Juwan Johnson, Saints (paired with ACL pro Frank Modlin) – Johnson is entering his fifth season in the league, having signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon. He has racked up 96 catches for 1,074 yards and 15 touchdowns in his 4-year career thus far.

·        Dion Dawkins, Bills (paired with ACL pro Adrian Johnson)– Dawkins is entering his eighth season in the league coming out of Temple. Dawkins is a 3x Pro Bowler, in addition to serving as Co-Commissioner of SuperHole V.

·        DaQuan Jones, Bills (paired with ACL pro Blaine Rosier)– Jones is entering his 11th season in the league coming out of Penn State and his third with the Bills. He has notched 327 total tackles and 14.5 sacks in his 10-year career thus far.

·        Matthew Judon, Patriots (paired with ACL pro Zach Engelken) – Judon is entering his ninth season in the league coming out of Grand Valley State. He is a 4x Pro Bowler with 369 total tackles and 66.5 sacks in his career.

·        Kendrick Bourne, Patriots (paired with ACL pro Mike Ferreira) – Bourne is entering his eighth season in the league out of Eastern Washington. He has amassed 264 receptions for 3,409 yards and 21 touchdowns in his career so far.   

·        Eric Kendricks, Cowboys (paired with ACL pro Kaleb Batson) – Kendricks is entering his 10th season in the league coming out of UCLA. He is a 1x Pro Bowler with 1,036 total tackles and 18.5 sacks in his 9-year career.

·        Brandin Cooks, Cowboys (paired with ACL pro Devon Habaugh) – Cooks is entering his 11th season in the league coming out of Oregon State. He has accumulated 684 receptions for 9,273 and 57 touchdowns in his 10-year career.

The first SuperHole began in 2019 where Daniel Jones took on Sam Darnold in a battle of New York. Since then the series has taken off with a variety of personalities taking part further showcasing the ACL tagline that “Anyone can play and anyone can win.” Past talent include Kel Mitchell, Shemar Moore, Kendall Toole, Dawn Staley, Charlotte Flair, Scott Porter, Natalie Coughlin, Ryan Lochte, Sanya Richards-Ross, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Jay Cutler, Phil Helmuth, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Aaron Jones, Jordan Poyer, Andre Reed, Jackson Olson, Brett Young, Tyler Hubbard, Doug Flutie and more.
