Opendorse, the leading athlete marketing platform, today announced a partnership with The Alliance of American Football (AAF) designed to help the league and its players build their brands together on social media. The agreement names opendorse as The Alliance’s athlete-driven publishing partner.
The partnership reflects The Alliance’s continued commitment to working alongside its players to grow the league. With opendorse, Alliance players will have access to approve and publish content from the league to their personal Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels with the tap of a button. The Alliance’s social team will use the platform to push approved content through the players’ social channels, effectively reaching their individual fan bases.
“The Alliance is fueled by a dynamic relationship between players, fans and the game. Providing fans with more access to our players and strengthening the connection between the two is vital to increasing engagement with the league and its teams. Social media is a big part of where that happens,” said Dinn Mann, head of content and marketing, The Alliance. “Opendorse offers a highly effective solution to facilitate The Alliance and our players interacting efficiently with fans on popular platforms. We’re grateful for the players’ positive efforts as influencers, and it’s true to our mission as a developmental league that we reward them with bonuses for taking the time to share compelling aspects of the journey in this manner.”
“Sports properties and publishers are racing to put content in athletes’ hands, not because it’s the new trend, but because it creates real impact,” said opendorse CEO Blake Lawrence. “Innovators like The Alliance have embraced the movement and are among the first to truly adopt it at a league-level. I’m proud to help The Alliance and the players win together on social.”
